The PANDAYAN Folk Dance Competition participated in by the students of Angelicum Academy of Carmona on December 7, 2025, held at the Mapanoo Carmona Court, where selected students from Grades Four to Six showcased their talents. Deuda Dance is one of the oldest and most cherished folk traditions of Western Nepal, especially among the Khas communities of Doti, Achham, Bajura, Bajhang, and Darchula. Performed in a circular formation where men and women hold hands, this dance beautifully blends song, rhythm, and storytelling. The unique 14-syllable couplets, sung as a form of question and answer, express themes of love, faith, heroism, and social values. Often performed during festivals like Gaura Parva, Deuda is more than
